text-transform: none;\">French and European Patent Attorney<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-av_textblock-0366cc7376be6c9e82a3e9cc8987b64f '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thierry started his IP career as a Patent Examiner at the French National Institute of Intellectual Property in the field of optics, mechanics and transmissions. After seven years, he moved to the industry and worked in-house at Thomson-CSF Industries (now THALES), a major manufacturer of telecommunications, industrial control and optronic devices. Thierry later joined the Parisian IP firm BREDEMA as a partner and head of the physics department, before establishing a new branch of an international IP firm in Toulouse in the aeronautics field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thierry is committed to the development of the IP community in France, and has taught preparation courses for the European Qualifying Examination and the French bar exam for more than a decade. He is actively involved in the debate surrounding the patentability of software in Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">His practice is primarily devoted to patent prosecution, infringement litigation and intellectual property strategy, including patentability and freedom to operate analyses.
