Patent Engineer, PhD in Microelectronics
Mourad MEZAGUER holds a PhD in Microelectronics from CEA-LETI and Université Grenoble Alpes, as well as two Master’s degrees in Physics from Sorbonne Université (Condensed Matter Physics) and the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediène (Theoretical Physics). This academic background provides him with deep scientific expertise in quantum physics, microelectronics, and nanotechnology.
He began his career in intellectual property in 2024 as a patent engineer at NOVITECH, following over five years of applied research at CEA-LETI, a leading center for technological innovation. His research focused on advanced microelectronic devices, particularly involving lithography, semiconductor physics, and materials engineering.
Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, he combines rigorous scientific knowledge with international openness. He now assists a diverse clientele in protecting their cutting-edge innovations, particularly in sectors such as electronic components, optics, photonics, and applied physics.
His activities cover all aspects of patent law in France, Europe, and internationally:
- Rights acquisition: patentability assessments, drafting of patent applications, and prosecution;
- Rights exploitation: support in technology contracts (assignments, licenses, collaborations);
- Rights enforcement: FTO analyses, responses to office actions, participation in EPO oppositions.
With his combined academic and industrial experience, Mourad MEZAGUER is a key advisor for securing high-tech inventions at the intersection of research and innovation.
