Feryel Ajmi joined the Firm in 2022.

She holds a PhD in private law, with doctoral research focused on the international protection of patentable inventions. With experience in both in-house and law firm settings, she combines a strong legal background with in-depth knowledge of industrial property issues.

She handles the management and enforcement of industrial property rights in France and internationally. She assists clients in protecting and defending their rights, in particular through the legal analysis of files, the preparation of proceedings and the development of tailored strategies.

Her main areas of work include:

• Managing filing, registration and renewal procedures for patents, trademarks and designs (INPI, EUIPO, WIPO), drafting responses and observations in proceedings before industrial property offices, and providing legal oversight of industrial property portfolios in France and abroad, in coordination with clients, foreign associates and the Firm’s partners;
• Opposition proceedings and other contentious industrial property proceedings;
• Contributing to the preparation of legal arguments and defense submissions in proceedings relating to industrial property rights.

Feryel Ajmi is trilingual (French, English and Arabic) and is known for her rigor and strong organizational skills. She contributes to the quality and responsiveness of the services provided by ALATIS.
